What happens when the mightiest enemy you have ever faced is actually yourself? The epic tale of a warrior too brave to feel shall reflect on what makes us human.

Victory
by Grexxen (25.02.2026)
Firmly anchored in silence proud, alone within the turbid crowd, a knight bereft of war and fame, delights in absence of the same.
Long he held his sword atop
as duty calls when reasons stop.
Yet no foe e’er crossed his sight.
None to conquer, none to fight.
In iron cladded, stern and still
a shield of habit more than will
kept danger out but fear within
until the weight ran his breath thin.
One day he met a traveller free
of armour-forged calamity.
The kindred spirit turned to song
of feelings soft and candour strong.
With virtues of compassion gifted,
swords were lowered, armour lifted.
Dance erupted, tears alike.
Victory claimed without a strike.
The knight embraced his inmost trials
as the traveller from the mirror smiles.
For joy and ail lay intertwined
within the fabric of all humankind.
